Perfect for our day filled with short adventures, this easy walk to Fantail Falls led us through lush landscapes toward the inviting riverbank of the stunningly clear Haast River. As we cycled along scenic roads lined with astounding vistas and ventured into tracking trails that meandered through dense foliage, each discovery added layers to the thrill of exploring this stunning destination. Then came that unforgettable moment – boarding the helicopter for what promised to be a breathtaking views helicopter ride unlike any other! Our 45-minute journey took us spiraling over majestic peaks and glacial wonders; it truly felt like a dream come true! With every sweeping angle from above giving us chills of joy and awe, I couldn’t help but feel deep gratitude for such an unforgettable adventure in Franz Josef.
